Barbecued Baby Back Ribs And Barbecued Chicken

homemade barbecue sauce for ribs

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
Remove the thin membrane from the underneath side of the Baby Back Ribs by holding the membrane with a kitchen towel at one end and pulling toward the other end. If you have difficulty doing this, don’t worry about it, your ribs will still be great and with practice this step becomes easy.

Ingredients:
1 Rack Baby Back Ribs
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
1 Jar Q Sauce by Richards

Instructions: Lightly salt and pepper both sides of the ribs. Place ribs in one piece, meaty side up, on a half sheet baking pan. Roast in the 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Remove from oven. Turn oven temperature up to 450 degrees. Brush both sides of ribs generously with Q Sauce by Richards. Leave ribs on pan, meaty side down and return to oven for 10 minutes.

Remove ribs from oven and again brush generously with Q Sauce and return them to oven for an additional 10 minutes with the meaty side up. Remove ribs from oven; they should be beautifully glazed. Brush ribs once more with Q Sauce and serve.

Note: After the 1 hour and 20 minute roasting time the saucing of the ribs may be done over a charcoal fire if desired.
